Thanks, Jonathan. Happy New Year from Denver! I'm new to your writing, but I have been a long-time podcast listener. You have a true gift of distilling the endless possibilities of a good life into targeted insight that resonates with the soul. I'm looking forward to continuing on this journey with you.
My New year"s resolution this year is actually a very simple re-solution, a gentle whisper to my heart: "You take the wheel, for you know the way. You ARE the way."
Wishing you the best of years - and a lot of inspiration for your blog & other avenues to shine your light.
Wow, that poem really resonated with me. I love the idea of the fresh year, full of possibilities. I was just contemplating my word, my direction for the year, which is "wings", and when I came into my email I saw this waiting for me. Is it serendipity? You bet :-)

I come to this year
Learning, feeling
The quiet power of relationships.
Knowing
I am held
By love and support
From others, from family.
Yet wondering,
Have I honored this?
Committing
To feed, to invest
In those who love me.
To be more,
Live more,
Love more,
In service of my best self
Through helping others
To know love
And become their best selves.
I come to this year
Inspired
By the possibility
Endless
In search of purpose
To do meaningful work
With meaningful people
In hope of
Making a lasting, positive impact.
Beautiful lines and thoughts, Derek!
Beautiful. ❤️

Thanks, Pepper. So glad it landed!
So inspiring Jonathan!!
I come to this year
Jigsawed
into 1000 pieces
Frame intact and sturdy
With curiosity and hope
I study the scattered pieces
Do all pieces belong? Are any pieces missing?
Each piece longs to find its interlock
With courage a piece comes to the forefront
Pick me!
Anxiously I attempt and fail
I hold back from exiling the piece
With compassion and forgiveness
I search for a new space of belonging
A space emerges with just the right shape
I continue the pattern
As each piece interlocks
the Jigsaw changes
from fragments
to wholeness.
Be in awe!
Love the metaphor of the puzzle, Jeanie!
So beautiful thank you
So glad it resonated!

Wings - so filled with possibility, Janine!
Awakening, questioning, and loving sound inviting. Thanks!
