To all those whose eyes lay upon me.
To all those whose expectations yearn to define me.
To all those who wish me to rise to their measure of success.
To all those who want me never to experience the pain of failure.
To all those who watch and wonder if I really know what I’m doing.
To all those who stand in judgment, waiting for the other shoe to drop.
To all those who look to me for proof of what’s possible for them.
To all those who love me with every fiber of their being.
Too all those whose backs remain turned to me.
To all those who want the very best for me.
I share these simple words…
Have a little faith.
Have a little faith that I’ll make mistakes, but be able to recover.
Have a little faith that I have within me the resolve to move through adversity.
Have a little faith that I know my heart and mind, and will not leave them behind.
Have a little faith that this life is not a race to be won, but rather a story to be spun.
Have a little faith that I’ll know when to work harder, and when to walk away.
Have a little faith that I have not just the will, but the capacity to succeed.
Have a little faith that what’s right for others isn’t always right for me.
Have a little faith that I will not put myself at unjustifiable risk.
Have a little faith that we’ll rise higher together than apart.
Have a little faith that my heart is in the right place.
Have a little faith that you can never be replaced.
Have a little faith…and a whole lot of love.

Wake-Up Call #42
Today’s wake-up call is simple.
Add your line. In your heart and mind.
And, in the comments, if you’re inclined.
“To all those who [add your words], have a little faith that [finish in your words.]”
To all those who are happy for me even though their own heart is breaking, have a little faith that your turn is coming up next.
“To all those who doubt the smile in the mirror, have a little faith that it is real.”
